NORTH COAST  is visited far more than the South coast because of its close proximity to the airport and city of Mombasa where there are more attractions outside the confines of the beach hotels and cottages. SOUTH COAST  is known for its beautiful beaches of white and clean sand and it is a preferred destination by those who want privacy while lazing, sunbathing and just stretching on the sand. The South coast comprises of Galu, Diani and Tiwi beaches.  Click here for more.

MALINDI  town is about 120 km north of Mombasa. Malindi Bay has the longest Kenyan beach, measuring about 7 km, ideal for a jog or walk. Malindi is a diver’s haven as well as best for surfing and game fishing. Click here for more.

WATAMU  town is about 105 km north of Mombasa and 15 km south of Malindi. The beach here is widest among the Kenya beaches and the coastline has three bays (Blue Lagoon, Turtle and Watamu) that are connected by high coral cliffs and beautiful coral reefs that make part of the Watamu Marine National Park. The marine park is considered one of the best snorkelling and diving area on the coast of East Africa and rated the third best beaches in Africa. Watamu's main economic activities are tourism and fishing.
